Anne Akiko Meyers, one of the world's premier concert violinists, will perform Vaughan Williams' elegant The Lark Ascending and Ravel's Tzigane. Ernest Bloch's neo-classical Concerto Grosso is followed by Bach's infamous Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, taking the strings on a musical excursion from 1925 back to the Baroque era. Haydn's playful "Hen" Symphony completes this delightful program.
